N1 - Boucherville | Montréal Mercier

The river shuttle linking Boucherville and Montréal Mercier is a reliable, efficient and economical public transit service. This service is part of the mitigation measures being implemented by the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD) as part of the repair work on the Louis-Hippolyte-La Frontaine tunnel. It is therefore free of charge, but reservations are strongly recommended.

N6 - Montreal Mercier - Charron Island

The river shuttle linking Montreal Mercier to Île Charron is an ideal way to get out of the city of Montreal and access a huge playground including, among others, the municipal beach of Longueuil and the Îles-de-Boucherville National Park. Animals are not allowed on the island, so the transportation of pets on the river shuttle is prohibited.

Thanks to the collaboration of Rivière-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles, Repentigny and Varennes, the Fleuve à vélo shuttle is back in 2025! Board your bike, cross the St. Lawrence River and take advantage of the bike paths to explore neighboring municipalities and admire the riverside scenery.

Seating on the boats is limited, so we strongly advise you to book your round-trip tickets online.
Please note that although children’s tickets are free, reservations are required for all passengers, including the youngest.

A question about river schuttle ?
Ticket
The payment confirmation received by email serves as your ticket for boarding on your scheduled shuttle date.
Bikes
Bicycles are accepted on all our shuttles subject to availability. Bicycles are boarded at the owner’s risk.
Children
Shuttles N1, N2, N3 and N6 are free for children aged 11 and under accompanied by a person aged 14 and over. This person may not accompany more than 5 children. Reservations are required even for children and babies.
Wheelchair
We recommend that you contact customer service to validate the type of boat assigned to the cruise. We will do our best to allow you to embark.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed only if they travel in a closed crate or dog carrier with no possibility of getting out.
Service dogs are accepted subject to the following conditions:
- The dog must wear a visual identifier (harness, scarf or other) displaying the logo of the organization that trained it.
- The owner may be required to present an official document from the organization attesting to the dog’s training.
Payment
We do not accept cash.
The OPUS card is valid if you have a monthly or annual subscription to the N2, N3 and N6 shuttles.
